Workday Today launching next month

On Aug. 11, Washington State University will make the switch to Workday Today. This switch impacts all employees who use Workday.

Workday Today is a collection of updates to how information is displayed and organized on the homepage, as well as how the search function works. It’s designed to streamline homepage and search capabilities to help users get to their tasks faster.

The new homepage interface and search functionalities will look and feel different than the current ones. Users can expect the following major changes:

  • A new home page layout with changes to the location of apps and the addition of several new sections, including “Timely Suggestions” and “Awaiting Your Action,” and a “Your Team” section for managers and supervisors.
  • Updates to the Workday search functionality that allow users to more easily sort search results by topic.
  • New WSU branding and imagery on the Workday homepage.

Workday Today is still being configured. Features and layout are subject to change, and may differ at launch based on employee location and type.

Updates about the implementation of Workday Today will continue to be provided in the Workday Digest and on the new Workday Today web page

Reach out to the Workday Service Desk for questions or concerns about Workday Today.
