Registration open for Aug. 8–12 higher education technology conference

Washington State University, in partnership with other Washington educators, is hosting this year’s Washington State Higher Education Building Bridges Technology Conference Aug. 8–12. The conference will feature over 25 in‑person sessions Aug. 11–12 at the Spokane Convention Center.

Early-bird registration has been extended through July 18, so anyone interested in attending can visit the conference site.

Presenters share accomplishments, lessons learned, and technology solutions relevant to both academic and technical audiences working in higher education.

Attendees can choose from topics, including procurement and staffing strategies, managing cybersecurity scenarios, case studies of numerous technical resources, a CIO question and answer panel, and several keynote presenters including WSU’s own Global Campus Chancellor and VP of Academic Outreach & Innovation, Dave Cillay.

The conference begins with remote presentations Aug. 8–10 followed by in‑person events including networking receptions throughout the final two days, Aug. 11 and 12. Registration for the event includes access to activities all five days. The on‑site event also provides a mobile app allowing attendees to customize their conference experience.
