Board of Regents hold special meeting March 31

A special meeting of the Washington State University Board of Regents is taking place March 31 at the Everett campus.

Regents will gather at WSU Everett beginning at 10:15 a.m. to hear presentations from student clubs as well as for a tour of the campus. Following lunch with members of the WSU Everett Advisory Board, regents will attend a panel discussion on local green energy initiatives. Among the panelists will be Emily Wittman, president & CEO of Aerospace Futures Alliance, Dan Eernissee, economic development director for the city of Everett, and David Kirtley, founder and CEO of Helion Energy.

After the panel, regents will travel to Seattle for a 5:30 p.m. reception and dinner alongside former regents as well as President Kirk Schulz and First Lady Noel Schulz at the Edgewater Hotel.
