LGBTQIA2S+ Scholarship for students

Applications are now open for scholarships for students active in supporting WSU’s LGBTQIA2S+ community.

Please complete the Washington State University online Scholarship application by March 5 to be considered.

The President’s Commission on Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation will be awarding its first $1,000 GIESO scholarship to a student for Fall 2022. Interested applicants should also complete a supplemental questionnaire which may be found online.

For WSU Pullman-based students, the $1,000 Dlugosh-McKee GIESORC Scholarship is awarded to a WSU student who is active in GIESORC (Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center) and its programming. Interested applicants should also complete a supplemental questionnaire.

WSU Vancouver-based students may also apply for the $1,000 LGBTQ+ Empowerment Scholarship and the $1,000 Dr. Kinda Nicholl Scholarships. No supplemental application materials are required to be considered for these specific scholarships.
