Representatives from the City of Pullman and Washington State University are inviting all members of the community to attend a virtual summit focused on the future of public safety.
The Reimagining Public Safety in Pullman summit is taking place Nov. 9 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Registration can be done online and must be completed by Nov. 2.
Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins and WSU Police Chief Bill Gardner will provide information regarding existing policies, procedures, training and initiatives as part of the event as they collect feedback from participants on the issues affecting local communities.
The goal of the summit, hosted by the Pullman Police Advisory Committee, is to create measurable action items stemming from the concerns and perspectives of a diverse range of voices.
