Nominations Sought for WSU Employee Excellence Awards

PULLMAN, Wash. — Nominations are being sought from Washington State University employees and members of the public for the 1998-99 WSU Employee Excellence Awards.
Three awards are given annually in the program. They recognize outstanding contributions to the university by classified staff and administrative professional employees from all around the state, says Ken Spitzer, President’s Employee Excellence Awards Committee chair. A plaque and a $1,000 cash gift accompany each award.
Nomination forms have been sent to WSU employees. Additional forms are available from the WSU Office of the Vice Provost for Human Relations and Resources, 134 French Administration Building, Pullman, Wash. 99164-1013; telephone 509/335-8888.
Spitzer says employees previously nominated for the awards may be nominated again. Award recipients are selected on a review of nomination material and recommendation.
For additional information, contact Spitzer at 509/335-5548.
