This means students can now complete all prerequisite courses for a Doctor of Pharmacy program without leaving the Yakima area. The event will include comments from leadership, a signing ceremony and photo opportunities.

Background

The demand for trained pharmacy professionals has increased in recent years due to rapid growth in the health care and pharmaceutical industries, especially in light of an aging population. This partnership will put students on a fast track to better help meet community need, while saving the student time and cost.
