Vancouver business leader named as WSU Regent

Lisa Keohokalole Schauer will be speaking at WSU Vancouver's Women of Distinction event.

Lisa Keohokalole Schauer, president of PointNorth Consulting and chair of the Washington State University Vancouver Advisory Council, has been appointed to the WSU Board of Regents by Gov. Jay Inslee.

Schauer has held a variety of leadership roles in the Vancouver area, including vice president of business development, senior vice president and chief operating officer of MacKay Sposito, a civil engineering and land surveying company.

She is past-president and current board director for the Children’s Center, and is the co-founder and chair of H-RoC, the Hand that Rocks the Cradle Rules the World. The independent, nonpartisan, political action committee aims to empower and support women in leadership and political office. She is an adjunct instructor at Portland State University and Clark College, teaching communications strategies.

Schauer holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and learning from George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in public relations and political science from Gonzaga University.
