Symposium to bring in experts from around U.S.

By Kiwamu Tanaka, Department of Plant Pathology and WSU Plant Phenomics Group

Washington State University will host a Plant Phenomics Symposium, 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in PACCAR 202.

Through the generous support of the Campbell Lecture Series Fund, the symposium celebrates the commissioning of the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust-supported phenomics facility in Johnson Hall. The registration is free, including coffee and a social mixer.

The event will start with opening remarks by College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences Dean André-Denis Wright, followed by talks on up-to-date phenomics by six different scientists from research institutions around the country. An open panel discussion will be held to wrap up the event.

See the list of speakers and schedule at the Phenomics Symposium website.
