PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Symphony Orchestra
will present its first performance of the season at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in
Bryan Hall Auditorium.
The performance will include four compositions: “The Fall of Phaeton,” by Carl
von Dittersdorf; Arthur Frackenpohl’s “Concertino for Tuba and Strings”; the
“Trauersinfonie,” by Joseph Haydns; and Beethoven’s “Overture to Fidelio.”
Conductor Keating Johnson will solo in the Frackenpohl piece.
The concert is free to the public.
