Change notification for April DNS & DHCP maintenance

ITS is performing the following maintenance beginning at noon on April 13, and completing at 5:00 p.m. on April 14.  This affects the entire WSU community:

The WSU DNS and DHCP servers in Pullman, Everett, and Spokane are being updated. As part of this update, the management interface for WSU DNS will be migrated to a new machine.

To ensure successful migration, management of DNS will be unavailable starting Friday, April 13, at noon until the completion of the maintenance on Saturday, April 14. While no changes will be possible, existing DNS records will not be impacted. DNS and DHCP use redundant servers, so no additional impact should be expected.

While DNS and DHCP issues are unlikely during this change, network based processes that use WSU DNS or DHCP servers in Pullman, Spokane, or Everett could potentially be impacted.
