Coffee & Politics: A carbon reduction initiative for Washington?

The Foley Institute’s Coffee & Politics Series continues today with Sameer Ranade, who will talk about confronting global warming with citizen input in the policy process.

Sameer Ranade will talk about the background to climate change policy and will ask specific questions of the audience about this issue. The perspective gained will help inform a proposed initiative in Washington. The Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy is presently planning to introduce a carbon reduction initiative to the voters in 2016. Your opinion would be welcomed by the Alliance.

Join us for pizza, pop, and discussion of carbon pricing policy.

Sameer Ranade graduated from WSU, majoring in Political Science, in 2003. Sameer works for the Washington Environmental Council, which is a member the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy coalition.
