Faculty/staff invitation to participate in Disability Awareness Symposium

Are you a WSU faculty or staff member with a disability or chronic medical condition? We invite you to share your experiences about navigating the world of academia with the WSU community at the Inaugural Disability Awareness Symposium Faculty/Staff Panel on March 29 from 3-3:50 p.m. in the Elson Floyd Cultural Center.

The Access Center is hosting a two-day symposium on March 28th and 29th, with presentations and workshops on universal design, ableism, and WSU’s progress in creating an inclusive campus, among other topics.

Please help us enrich the conversation on disability in academia. If you are interested in participating in a panel discussion, please email rochelle.dach@wsu.edu by March 16.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
