WSU Transportation Services partnering with WSU Motor Pool on vanpool program

Washington State University (WSU) Transportation Services has partnered with WSU Motor Pool on WSU-Pullman’s vanpool program.  With the transition, WSU Transportation Services will now be coordinating WSU vanpools, promoting the program, and absorbing other administrative duties related to the WSU vanpool program.

Brent Atkinson, WSU Transportation Services TDM (Transportation Demand Management) Coordinator said, “We look forward to serving the WSU community by continuing to offer high-quality ridesharing alternatives.  We hope to expand the program as we move forward.”

WSU Transportation Services will be holding a WSU Vanpool Open House Meet and Greet for current vanpool members and people interested in the WSU vanpool program on Wednesday, May 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the CUE building (Smith Center), room 518. Refreshments will be provided.

The open house will provide an opportunity for existing vanpool drivers and riders to become acquainted with WSU Transportation Services personnel, as well as meet prospective vanpool riders or anyone interested in the program.  The event will also give community members the opportunity to ask questions regarding the WSU vanpool program as well as providing suggestions, comments, and concerns.
