Nov. 14: Local success highlights global entrepreneur week

local-entrepreneursPULLMAN, Wash. – Local entrepreneurs will share their experiences starting and growing companies on the Palouse at “Startup Stories: Tales of Palouse Venture Launch,” a free, public panel discussion and networking event 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the BellTower event venue and entertainment house, 125 SE Spring St. Pullman. Hearty appetizers will be served.

The event will occur during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

Christopher Wood, founder and managing director of Ten X Strategies, L.L.C. (http://www.tenxv.com/tenxhome.html), Jonah Friedl, founder and CEO of NOMAD Campus (http://www.nomadcampus.com/), and Randy Gentry, cofounder and owner of MotoTrax (https://moto-trax.com/), will participate.

The event is sponsored by the Palouse Knowledge Corridor, Pullman Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Washington Economic Development Association and WSU Carson College of Business Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (http://business.wsu.edu/research-faculty/centers/entrepreneurial-studies/).
