COLVILLE, Wash. – State-of-the-art information on sustainable forest management practices will be provided by regional experts at the 22nd Annual Logger’s Workshop 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the Ag Trade Center, 317 W. Astor, Colville.
The workshop will focus on the aftermath of last summer’s wildfires, in particular how to work around effects on roads and the spread of invasive plants. Differences between Washington and Idaho forest practices rules will be discussed. The afternoon will focus on loggers themselves – their history, stories and the economic impact they generate.

Loggers can earn continuing education credits for the Washington Contract Loggers Association master logger program.
