First WSU Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive Set Monday, Jan. 18

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Pullman Food Bank will be the beneficiary of the first Washington State University Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive on Monday, Jan. 18. It is sponsored by WSU Multicultural Student Services.
Held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Pullman Safeway store in Wheatland Center, canned and non-perishable food items may be given to food drive volunteers.
The food drive will be held on the national, state and WSU holiday honoring the Rev. King. At 7 p.m. Jan. 19, in Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum, WSU will hold its annual program celebrating his life. Attorney and motivational speaker Patricia Russell-McCloud will be the keynoter.
