New and enhanced recruitment resources

Human Resource Services supports WSU’s goal to recruit, retain and advance a diverse intellectual mix of faculty and staff as part of the 2014-2019 Strategic Plan. To assist with these efforts, HRS is pleased to introduce new resources and revamped tools for the university community. Highlights include:

Recruitment Specialist
Jaide Wilhelm jaide.wilhelm@wsu.edu, (509) 335-9436, recently joined the HRS team as the Recruitment Specialist. Jaide is available to meet with hiring departments and search committees to help develop recruitment strategies and discuss best practices for search processes.

On-Demand Search Committee Trainings

Individuals with recruiting responsibilities may access updated versions of HRS’ on-demand training sessions for Faculty Recruitment Basics and Staff Recruitment Basics.

Candidate Experience Resources

New resources for creating a welcoming on campus candidate experience including ideas for putting together a packet of information showcasing the hiring department, WSU and the local region. Visit the Candidate Experience website for more information: hrs.wsu.edu/candidate+Experience

Advertising and Outreach Tools

HRS has contracted with JobTarget to allow for easy dissemination of online advertisements. Talent pools for sourcing potential candidates are also available. Visit the Outreach tools website for more information: hrs.wsu.edu/outreach+tools
