Hire Student Employees? Post Jobs Now on CougLink at https://cacd.wsu.edu

If you are among the many who hire students to work in your office/lab/program, congratulations and thank you: you are helping them build skills and gain experiences that will help them be solid candidates for future internships and career positions after college.

How do you reach great candidates to spell out details about the job?  You will now connect with them using CougLink! Effective July 1:

  1. The Student Employment program is moving to the Center for Advising and Career Development (CACD) from the Office of Student Financial Services (SFS)*.  And,
  2. You will use CACD’s CougLink online system available now to post new job announcements; it is accessible from the homepage of the https://cacd.wsu.edu website.

CACD has an extensive career resource suite that helps students prepare personally and professionally to make wise and realistic major and career decisions.

CougLink has been used by hundreds of WSU students for several years to post resumes, connect with employers, view open positions, and more; adding Student Employment’s on- and off-campus job postings will encourage more students to become familiar with the system during their academic careers.

Assistant Director Christie Motley, who heads CACD career services and employer relations, is available to answer questions and to help WSU faculty, staff, and students as Student Employment transitions to its new home.  She can be reached at 509-335-9612 or cmotley@wsu.edu.

Student Employment joins many CACD operations in Lighty 160-180.

*All work study services remain in SFS.
