CAHE Recognition Set For WSU’s Lewis Alumni Centre March 26

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s College of Agriculture and Home Economics is holding a recognition reception honoring Ann George for her many contributions to the agricultural community at 3 p.m. March 26 at Lewis Alumni Centre.

She is the administrator of the Washington Hop Commission and U.S. Hop Industry Plant Protection Committee. George also is active with the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Alumni and Foundation, Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration and Interregional Research Project No. 4 Commodity Liaison Committee for minor crop plant protection issues.

The reception is free and open to the public.

George is being recognized during Women’s History Month for her accomplishments and contributions to American life. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Women of Courage and Vision.”
