TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Washington State University Tri-Cities is hosting an information night about its new bachelor of science degree in agriculture with emphasis in viticulture and enology at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 in the West Building Atrium on the North Richland campus.
“This is an opportunity for people to learn about this agriculture degree program emphasizing wine-grape production and wine-making, which will start this fall at WSU Tri-Cities,” said Mark Moreno, graduate recruiter at the Tri-Cities campus. “We’ll provide details about admissions requirements and course information.”
Larry James, dean of the Tri-Cities campus, will make a presentation on the new program, supported by the Washington Wine Commission and the Washington State Viticulture and Enology Education Consortium.
“This is a developing program that will serve a fast-growing area in Washington’s agriculture industry,” James said.
