Washington State University will host its next virtual COVID-19 town hall on Sept. 30.
The forum will focus on issues pertaining to university faculty and staff. Among the topics of discussion will be available services and support for employees, support for faculty seeking tenure while managing family obligations, screening testing for Spokane and Pullman employees, as well as plans for the spring semester.
The event will be broadcast live on Youtube beginning at 11 a.m. Questions can be submitted in advance using an online form.
Provost and Executive Vice President Elizabeth Chilton will offer opening and closing remarks in place of President Kirk Schulz, who is taking part in a meeting with Gov. Jay Inslee alongside other Washington university leaders.
Joining Chilton will be Senior Vice Provost Laura Griner Hill, Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer Theresa Elliot-Cheslek, Assistant Vice President of Human Resource Services Lisa Gehring, as well as Kendra Wilkins-Fontenot and Ann Monroe, who serve as directors within Human Resource Services.
