Seventeen faculty and six staff were recently honored by the College of Arts and Sciences for exemplary achievements and outstanding contributions to the college and the University.

“Our annual awards are an opportunity to showcase the creativity, scholarship, and commitment to excellence that powers our extensive and diverse community,” said Matthew Jockers, dean of the college.

With more than 600 faculty and researchers and nearly 200 staff members spanning 20 academic programs across all six WSU campuses, the College of Arts and Sciences delivers just over half of all student credit hours across the University, and supports scholarly, research, and creative activities in the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, and interdisciplinary endeavors.
