The Administrative Professional Contribution Awards honor administrative professionals who have made exceptional contributions to Washington State University and their respective areas or units.

Nominations should highlight contributions made by employees including, but not limited to, productivity; innovative problem solving, positive working relationships, and university or community service that goes beyond expected job responsibilities. Include examples of what makes them an exceptional administrative professional employee.

Exceptional is defined as going above and beyond the expected or required job performance; making a unique difference in the workplace; and/or performance that has far-reaching, compelling impacts to an employee’s work area or the university.

To be eligible for the award, nominees must be full-time (FTE) administrative professionals who have not received the award in the past five years.

The nomination deadline is April 24, 2020 by 5 p.m. (PST). A total of six awards will be selected based on representation and work location. Award recipients receive $1000 and winners will be announced at APAC’s May meeting.

The nomination form and instructions can be found on the APAC website.
