Light posting ahead to WSU Insider

WSU Insider is temporarily reducing its posting and publishing frequency.

Produced by the university’s News and Media Relations unit, with support from marketing and communication teams throughout the WSU system, the move to lighter general posting is linked indirectly to WSU’s aggressive response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Members of the News unit are actively involved in helping prepare articles and other informational content about those continuing efforts, as are campus, college and departmental communicators throughout the statewide system.

Much of the communication about the university’s response is being posted to the regularly updated COVID-19 website or used in other dedicated communication formats.

Fresh posts will continue to be made to the WSU Insider website but on a less regular basis as articles are available. The Insider push email, typically sent each weekday, will be reduced to Monday and Thursday distributions only at least for the next few weeks.

Submissions to the Announcements section will continue to be posted and updated daily, as well as to the WSU Events calendar, though submissions to both services recently have been much lighter than usual as well.

Look for fresh daily WSU Insider lineups to return in the near future.
