WSU to face Air Force in Cheez‑It Bowl

The Washington State University football team will play the Air Force Academy in the Cheez‑It Bowl, Friday, Dec. 27 at 7:15 p.m. in Phoenix, Arizona.

The game marks the first meeting between WSU and the Air Force Academy of the Mountain West Conference.

Washington State is making its fifth‑straight bowl appearance and sixth in eight years under head coach Mike Leach, marking the first time a coach has done either at WSU. The Cougars finished the regular season with a 6‑6 overall record, 3‑6 in Pac‑12 play.

Tickets for the 2019 Cheez‑It Bowl may be ordered through wsucougars.com or via the Cougar Ticket Office at 1‑800‑GO‑COUGS.
