WSU President Kirk Schulz has authorized the use of three hours of work time for all university employees to attend the upcoming State of the University Address and the Academic Showcase and Graduate and Professional Student Association Exposition next week.
The events take place March 26 and 28 on the Pullman campus and are designed to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the WSU community in advancing scholarship, research, and the arts.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to schedule their attendance at one or both events with a supervisor to avoid disrupting university operations and so everyone may take advantage of the opportunity to participate. Faculty are welcome to encourage their students to attend an event in lieu of class if they believe the students might benefit from attending.
