March 26: WSU hosts fourth annual public hackathon

PULLMAN, Wash. – Registration is open to the public for the free, annual 36-hour Washington State University Pullman hackathon, which will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Smith CUE.

Prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges that includes industry engineers and faculty from the WSU School of Electrical Engineering, which is hosting the event with the student chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery.

The hackathon requires participants to develop homemade hardware or software projects. Judging will be based on creativity and technical merit.

Participants can work alone or in teams of up to three people. Teams can register together. If a participant does not have a group, the hosts can help place them.
