PULLMAN — Corinne Mantle-Bromley, interim associate dean for WSU’s College of Education, has accepted a nomination to serve on the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s (AACTE) Committee on Research and Dissemination.
AACTE is an alliance of educator preparation programs that promotes learning for students in preschool through 12th grade. The Committee on Research and Dissemination works to develop the association’s research agenda and create effective strategies for distributing the findings. Committee members also serve on the Journal of Teacher Education’s editorial board.
Mantle-Bromley will serve a three-year term, starting in March. Before being named interim dean, she was chair of WSU’s Department of Teaching & Learning. She holds a doctoral degree from the University of Idaho.
 
The committee’s other members are – George Hynd, Arizona State University; Steve Yussen, University of Minnesota; Vernon C. Polite, Eastern Michigan University; James Earl Davis, Temple University; Suzanne Wilson, Michigan State University; and board liaison Lucinda Chance, Georgia Southern University.
