Todd Norcott photography on display at WSU Vancouver

VANCOUVER – An exhibit of Todd Norcott’s photography is
currently on display through the end of July in the Washington State University Vancouver library.

Norcott is a Vancouver native and has as body of work that focuses on images of the Pacific Northwest. He has established himself as an important part of the Vancouver art scene. His photos are part of the Southwest Washington Medical Center collection and local community members such as the Mayor Royce Pollard and Vancouver city council member Tim Leavitt have also purchased his prints.

The WSU Vancouver exhibit displays more than 40 prints. The images range from flowers and plants to architecture, interiors and landscape. Norcott says that his passion is “finding art in everyday life.” Norcott carefully uses saturated colors and balanced compositions. The images are very still and planned; very few of the pieces show movement.

Norcott is represented by the Aurora Gallery and runs a photography business providing event advertising and commissioned photography. To see more of Norcott’s work or to contact him, go to www.toddnorcott.com.

Entry to campus exhibits is free. WSU Vancouver galleries are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
