Mosaic Arts Alliance exhibit at WSU Vancouver

VANCOUVER – Seven members of the Mosaic Arts Alliance are displaying their artwork in the Engineering Life Sciences building at WSU Vancouver now through May 9. The show includes photography, painting, printmaking, pen and ink drawings, and collage works of art.
 
The Mosaic Arts Alliance is a nonprofit organization that welcomes artist from all disciplines as well students and supporters of the arts. Mosaic members meet regularly to network and discuss ideas and opportunities. Mosaic members have been involved in a number of community art projects including providing art classes to youths in juvenile detention, painting community murals and providing art projects for children at local festivals. They also oversee the Sixth Street Gallery, a cooperative gallery in downtown Vancouver. Click here to visit gallery’s website. 
 
The Mosaic Arts Alliance will also be represented at the WSU Vancouver Art Fair on Friday, April 10 from 4 – 7 p.m. Mosaics Arts Alliance members will have a booth at the fair with art work for sale.
 
Entry to campus exhibits is free. WSU Vancouver galleries are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
 
Parking is available at parking meters or in the blue lot for $3.
