College of Business holds golf classic May 9

PULLMAN – The College of Business at WSU is gearing up for the 2008 Cougar Golf Classic, to be held on Friday, May 9 with a shotgun start at 1:45 p.m. This is the second time the college has hosted the tournament, to be held at the Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Oregon (www.langdonfarms.com). The event is sponsored by Caddies4Cure.com, Resources Global, Kim’s Embroidery, Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts, McCord’s Vancouver Toyota, and Papa Murphy’s.

The event will include 18 holes of golf with prizes for top finishing teams and individual contests, a brief “state of the college” address from Dean Eric Spangenberg, lunch, and dinner.
 
“Cougar alumni and friends are invited to come play with the College of Business in our second annual event, we expect another strong turnout on one of the finest public courses in the Northwest,” says Spangenberg.

Funds from the golf tournament will support student, faculty, and program excellence within the college.
