Signature campaign started for 4-H license plate

The Washington State 4-H Foundation has begun a signature campaign to authorize a specialized license plate that will provide supporters with an opportunity to show their 4-H pride and increase visibility of the state’s largest youth-serving organization.

Thirty-five hundred signatures are needed to complete the application process.

Proceeds from the sale and renewal of the license plates will be used to support programs and build endowments to benefit 4-H youth throughout Washington.  The fee for new plates would be $40 per set. Renewals would be $30 the following year.

If you own a vehicle and would like to support the effort by adding your signature call (253) 445-4570. Additional details on the license plate program can be found at  http://4h.wsu.edu/foundation/licenseplate.htm

Signature collection is scheduled to end May 1.
