Compilation of photos honors women’s athletics

WSU Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections has compiled a digital collection that consists of photographs and a slideshow honoring the legacy of women’s athletics. 

The collection, titled A Century of Women’s Athletics at WSU,  premiered last Friday at the Academic Showcase where it generated a lot of interest.

In September, the WSU Athletics Department will host a celebration to honor the women who began the legacy of Cougar Athletics. Honorees will include women athletes and coaches who represented Cougar Athletics prior to the 1982-83 season.
