Starry, Starry Nights

The Jewett Observatory is inviting visitors to bundle up and stop by to enjoy a night of stars at the observatory this Saturday, October 28, at 8 pm.  At this “Star Party” you can view the cosmos and hopefully catch a glimpse of Mercury and Jupiter in the twilight glare from the sun.

The Observatory will also be open on All Hallow’s Eve (Oct. 31), from 6 to 8 pm. The dome will be open and candy will be available.

The viewings will be cancelled if it is a cloudy night.

The Jewett Observatory is located off of Chinook Drive, across from the equine track.
