Warren Hoge, The New York Times Foreign Correspondent at the United Nations, will be on the WSU campus Sunday, Feb. 26. He will make a presentation at 2:30 p.m. in The Bundy Reading Room at Avery Hall, and will also be the featured speaker at the Multicultural Fundraising Dinner from 6-8 p.m. at the CUB.
The Edward R. Murrow School of Communication will host a reception for Hoge from 4-5 p.m. in the CADD Atrium. Light Hors d’oeuveres and punch will be served. The Communication School encourages communication and other students to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Hoge has had an expansive career in cultural and foreign journalism. A graduate of Yale University, Hoge became the bureau chief correspondent in 1978, where he covered international assignments from Central and South America, and lived in London for seven years as a Times correspondent.
