Plant Bioscience building gets spruced up

Jason Katz and Ezekiel Fisher, employees of the residential and commercial landscape company Living Waters, work to unload plants in front of Plant Bioscience building Tuesday afternoon.

The landscapers, who began work on the building last fall, are working on the project in phases and hope to be finished mid summer, said Tom Reed, Living Waters landscaper. The company will begin the planting phase this week.

The landscapers will plant about 500 plants, including about 400 laurels.

“Every day is different,” Reed said. “The only thing that’s the same is the dirt.”
