Siler to donate sculpture to WSU

A promised gift from the collection of professor Pat Siler to WSU is on display in the Smith CUE atrium. The large black-and-white glazed geometric sculpture by artist Jun Kaneko will be donated officially to the university sometime next year.

Kaneko is among a handful of famous sculpture artists in the U.S. and resides in Omaha, Neb. “He is collected all over the world,” said WSU Museum of Art director Chris Bruce. “It is a special opportunity to have the work of an artist of that stature here.”
