4-H Seeks Hall of Fame Nominations

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Nominations for the 2004 Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Hall of Fame are now being accepted by the Washington State 4-H Program.

Anyone, living or dead, who has had significant impact on the 4-H Youth Development Program since it began in the state is eligible.

Reusable containers a hit with students and the environment

Since the service was implemented, the reusable containers program has saved almost 65,000 single-use containers and over 6,000 pounds of waste from the landfill, nearly 42,000 gallons of water, and over 43,000 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.
