Dec. 10 WSU Holiday Celebration Offers Something for Everyone

PULLMAN, Wash. — The 18th annual Washington State University Holiday Celebration will be Dec. 10 at the Lewis Alumni Centre on the Pullman campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will be from 6-8 p.m. and includes photo opportunities with both Santa and Santa Butch and a musical performance by the WSU Madrigal Singers. The College of Veterinary Medicine Draft Horse Club will also give horse drawn wagon rides.

A silent auction will feature a variety of holiday and Cougar spirit items, including holiday wreaths decorated by local businesses. A football autographed by the 2003 Cougar football team also will be raffled.

The university’s Student Alumni Connection will collect donations of canned food and toys to benefit the Pullman Child Welfare Association and the Pullman Food Bank.

The Holiday Celebration is sponsored by the WSU Student Alumni Connection, the WSU Alumni Association and the Palouse District of the WSU Alumni Association.
