Free Game Day Shuttle Offered to Football Fans

PULLMAN, Wash. — Pullman Transit is teaming up with Washington State University athletics to provide free bus service on home football game days.  Along with the usual transit service and campus shuttle on Saturday (Saturday north and south routes), two express routes and a new Visitor Center Special will be offered.

The additional service will start three hours prior to kickoff and run continuously until 90 minutes after the game.

Riders may park around the WSU Visitor Center at the Cougar Depot in downtown Pullman and catch the new Visitor Center Special from the nearby transfer station.  The Visitor Center Special will stop at the Bookie, Hollingbery Fieldhouse and Martin Stadium near Wilson Road.  

The Visitor Center is open for every home football game from 9 a.m. to approximately 90 minutes after the game.   The center offers free gourmet coffee, refreshments, restrooms and also features the Bookie at the Cougar Depot for WSU souvenirs and memorabilia.

Transit service on the Saturday north and south routes will run every 30 minutes, service on the express route will run every 15 minutes and service on the Visitor Center Special will run every 15 to 20 minutes.  Call Pullman Transit at 509/332-6535 or the WSU Visitor Center at 509/335-8633 for more information.
