WSU Finance Students Featured Today, 10:30 a.m. on CNBC

PULLMAN, Wash. — CNBC crews are on Washington State University’s Pullman campus Wednesday to shoot live interviews with three Finance students in Dr. Rick Sias’ senior portfolio management class.

The students, Kari Miller, Boise, Idaho; Brad Gould, Castle Rock; and Michael Andeberhan, Bakersfield, Calif., will detail their advice to classmates on why they should invest part of their $1 million portfolio in AIN, Weyerhaeuser and Starbucks.

A CNBC commentator will compare the students’ thoughts with input from a professional analyst.

Sias’s WSU team is in good company in being a featured school on the CNBC “Power Lunch” segment. Two weeks ago, students from USC were on camera, and last week students from Notre Dame.

Editor’s Note: For more information on the broadcast or reach the students, contact Bev Makhani in the College of Business and Economics, 335-3957, or Sias, 335-2347.
