PULLMAN, Wash. — In an unprecedented interview, the president of Russia will take questions from the American people during a special 4:30 p.m. broadcast from National Public Radio on Nov. 15.
Vladimir Putin will be the guest of a live call-in program moderated by Robert Siegel, host of “All Things Considered.”
After the interview with Putin, NPR’s Neal Conan will continue the conversation with listeners and a panel of studio guests, discussing the interview and summit meetings held this week with U.S. President George W. Bush and Putin.
Putin meets with Bush today (Nov. 13) in Washington, D.C. The world leaders will continue their discussions Wednesday and Thursday at Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas.
This is the only interview Putin has granted to U.S. media during his visit to the United States, said an NPR spokesman.
