MEDIA ADVISORY: WSU Firefighters Return from New York

PULLMAN, Wash. — WSU firefighters Jeff Siemers and Brent Olson have returned from a trip to New York City. The pair spent several days there visiting local fire department personnel and ground zero. They were among a delegation who took locally raised contributions to a New York fire station. The funds raised will be used to support families of firefighters who died in the Sept. 11 tragedy.

A press availability with the two is set for Thursday, Oct. 11, at 3:15 p.m. at the WSU Fire Station on Wilson Road, across from the Compton Union Building.

A four-minute video tape of the NYC area also will be available.
