PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s Mom’s Weekend
Committee is seeking nominations for its 2000 Mom of the Year.
Students can submit applications until Friday, March 10. A selection
committee will select the Mom of the Year award recipient based on comments
each nominator makes about his/her mother and her contributions to her local
community and to WSU.
The Mom’s Weekend Committee will announce three finalists in early April.
The finalists will be honored at the Mom’s Weekend Brunch in the Compton
Union Building Ballroom on April 15, when the winner will be announced.
Applications are available at the Women’s Resource Center in Wilson Hall,
