WSU Police Investigate Acquaintance Rape Case

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Police Department is
investigating an alleged acquaintance rape that occurred in the early morning
of Sunday, Feb. 27, in Goldsworthy campus residence hall.

The victim is a WSU student, while the alleged assailant is a non-student from
out of the area, according to the department.

The WSU police are working with the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office on
the case.
