Enrollment Management Candidates Due on Campus

PULLMAN, Wash. — Three candidates for Washington State University’s vice
provost for enrollment management will be on campus during the next two
weeks interviewing for the newly created position.

Douglas L. Christiansen, director of admissions at Purdue University, will be
on campus Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 6-7. He will present a public seminar on
his vision for WSU’s enrollment management efforts at 9 a.m. Monday in
Murrow Communication Center, Room 53.

Christiansen earned his doctorate from the University of Utah in educational
administration, higher education, with an emphasis in budgeting/finance and
organizational leadership/behavior.

Melisa N. Choroszy, assistant vice president for enrollment services at the
University of Nevada, Reno, will interview Thursday and Friday, Dec. 9-10. She
will present a campus seminar from 3-4 p.m. Friday in the Electrical and
Mechanical Engineering Building, Room B46.

Choroszy earned a doctorate from the University of Arizona in elementary
education with a specialization in reading, language arts and mathematics
education.

Michael R. Heintze, vice president for enrollment management at Texas Tech
University, will be on campus Dec. 13-14. His 3-4 p.m. seminar is planned for
Dec. 13 in Murrow, Room 55. Heintze earned a doctorate in history from Texas
Tech.

The public presentations also will be available at WHETS classrooms at WSU
Spokane, WSU Tri-Cities, WSU Vancouver and the WSU School of
Nursing/Intercollegiate Center for Nursing Education in Spokane.
