Faculty Chamber Concert Planned Sept. 30 at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. — Chamber works by Bach, Beethoven and Schumann will be featured in an 8 p.m. faculty program Sept. 30 at Washington State University’s Bryan Hall Auditorium.
The concert opens with Bach’s “Trio Sonata in G Major” with Ann Yasinitsky and Haida Peterson, flute; Christopher von Baeyer, violoncello; and Gerald Berthiaume, harpsichord.
Beethoven’s “Four Songs from the Scottish and Irish Collection,” performed by Julie Anne Wieck, soprano; Meredith Arksey, violin; von Baeyer, violoncello; and Berthiaume, piano; follows.
The final program piece, Schumann’s “Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 47,” will feature Arksey, violin; Erich Lear, viola; von Baeyer, violoncello; and Susan Chan, piano.
The concert is open to the public without charge.
