PULLMAN, Wash. — The Palouse Area Therapeutic Horsemanship program for people with
physical or mental challenges is once again serving the Inland Northwest. The program is part of
Washington State University’s celebrated People-Pet Partnership.
The spring session of the program will run from April 14-June 2. Two, one-hour classes will
be held each Wednesday evening. All classes will be held at the Rocking Horse Ranch indoor
arena located on the Old Moscow-Pullman Road.
An organizational and orientation meeting will be held Wednesday, April 7, from 5:30-6:30
p.m. in Bustad Hall, Room 145, on the Washington State University campus.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the program; no prior experience is necessary. A
mandatory volunteer meeting will be held on Sunday, April 11, with time and location to be
announced later.
