WSU Drug Investigation Leads to Arrest of Three Students

PULLMAN, Wash. — Three Washington State University students have been arrested on
drug charges. WSU police made the arrests as the result of a month-long drug investigation.
The arrests took place in Streit Hall at 11:56 p.m. on March 7. Police seized small amounts of
marijuana and cocaine as well as drug paraphernalia.
Streit Hall residents Erin M. Oleary, age 18, and Catherine E. Goerig, age 19, were arrested for
delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nineteen year old Daniel J. Mopper, also a resident of Streit Hall, was arrested on two
counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a
controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
WSU police have been actively investigating drug sales on campus for the past month. Four
students were arrested last Friday in an off campus drug raid. Police officials say they will
continue their investigation into drug activities on campus.
